Btw., I don't know how many patches will be in 4.3p2, but, can we
target maintainers get an early message with a link to the source
tar archive supposed to become 4.3p2? This would allow a quick check,
if it still looks ok.

I'm a bit concerned that we would otherwise see similar problems as with
4.3p1. The last message that 4.3p1 is due and should specificially be
tested was sent a long time before 4.3p1 was eventually announced. I
was scanning the openssh-unix-dev list every day for an announcement
that we should again test some beta package of OpenSSH, but instead it
was just suddenly released without further request for testing. Though
I build from CVS once in a while to check if nothing has been broken on
Cygwin in the meantime, the explicit test announcement are pretty
important, IMHO. Especially now that the CVS repository is broken.

Keep in mind that people might be only subscribed to the openssh-unix-dev
list, but not to the openssh core developer's mailing list. I, for one,
am not exactly involved in OpenSSH development, but only interested in
the portability to Cygwin. So I don't see what's going on in OpenSSH
land, until it hits the portable OpenSSH repository. I hope there's
nothing wrong with that approach.
