Seems to be because the first explicit AC_CHECK_HEADERS() is inside
the case block (sounds familiar.)  I suspect that autoconf 2.60 works
because it handles this correctly.

Putting AC_CHECK_HEADERS(sys/types.h) before the case block works (I
suspect that checking for any header would make it work).
