greater than 8 character passwords on SCO OSR6

It's working fine on UnixWare using the latest snapshot.
Your post prompted me to test on OSR6. Although regression tests
have been pasing on OSR6, it looks like ia_openinfo() is failing.

It looks like I'm going ot have to disable long passwords for OSR6.
