[netflow-tools] Softflowd reg:-

Hi,
I get the softflowd to run only when I set the -D and -d options. To
explain, I don't get any output when I run softflowd as : softflowd -i eth0
-n ip:port. But I get output when I run softflowd with -d and -D options.
Why is it so? I'm a newbie, so please ignore any triviality in the question.
